Willkommen to the Creemore Springs Oktoberfest at Blue! Once upon a time, long long ago in a faraway land known as Bavaria, a Crown Prince, who later became King Ludgwig I, married the beautiful princess Therese Von Sachesen-Hildenburghausen. The horse races signified their finale of five days of wedding festivities on October 17, 1810. This likely marked the beginning of Oktoberfest. The festivities grew year after year and booths were added serving food and drink. Today, the festival is celebrated around the world – from the end of September to the end of October. Continue this awesome tradition at the Blue Mountain Village on Saturday, September 21st! Check out the Creemore Springs Biergarten in the Events Plaza and sample German-inspired food, a special Oktoberfest Lager brewed in honour of this celebration, enjoy traditional live music and dancing, games and more festive fun!
